april and cody.

April and Cody are such a kind couple. Their gentle personalities and friendly spirits make them a pair anyone would want to support. And considering the crown that turned out for their wedding, it's obvious that they are blessed with plenty of that support.

I have loved working with April and Cody from their engagements to their wedding. They're always excited for pictures which makes me eager for the perfect shot. I was so thrilled when they took Mal and I to a circular barn for some pictures. And even though it was a little dreary and cold outside (and would later snow), the two stuck it out for some gorgeous shots.

April and Cody's entire wedding was just as much fun. We loved the bright pops of yellow, April's vintage head piece, the tasty cupcakes, and seeing familiar faces. This is our third wedding in this family and at this point, it's almost like going to visit with friends.

We have really enjoyed this group and can only hope we were able to pay their kindness back with pictures they'll treasure for life.

About a year ago I was asked to take newborn pictures of my dear friends' son. It's unbelievable that an entire year has passed and instead of seeing a tiny baby through my view finder, this time I saw a smiley and big one year old.

Harrison is a sweet and loving little boy with a big smile and an adorable personality. He must have gotten it from his parents.

It always thrills me to see Heidi and Andrew as parents. They're patient and kind and their teamwork is something to be praised. They were relaxed and excited for their pictures and in turn, Harrison was ready to have some fun. Between Heidi and Andrew's tickles and singing and my own husbands "tap dancing", Harrison had plenty to laugh at and the pictures turned out cute as can be.

The Allison family has a lot to celebrate: The first birth day of their son, Conner, and a new house. With so many exciting things going on in their lives, I was so glad they asked me to take some pictures in their home before they moved.

I met Amy when I took some photos for the Make-A-Wish's Evening with the Stars. Amy is such a kind person and her family is no different. I loved spending time with the three Allison's and especially enjoyed capturing some shots of her sweet son, Conner.
