I always love taking pictures in new places and venues. So I was thrilled to head to Naperville with my friend Joe for Beth and Patrick's wedding at the Danada House. The Danada House is stunning. It has a beautiful vintage bridal suite, picture perfect outdoor ceremony space, and a reception venue that's a little on the contemporary side. It's simply amazing. But to top it all off, the Danada House is surrounded by an amazing equestrian farm. The horses, the fences, the green grass and tress, this property was all this Kentucky Wildcat could have dreamed of.

But despite the pretty scenery, it was Beth and Patrick who stole the show. These two love birds really lit up the day with their sweet personalities and love for one another. They were so kind to each other, their guests, and Joe and I, making sure we were well fed, comfortable, and even set us up with some awesome hospitality baskets. It was an absolute pleasure working with them!

the hawthorns: ladies spring luncheon.

I love The Hawthorns so I was so excited when they asked me to photograph their Ladies Spring Luncheon. The ladies had a great day with pretty decor from Design Group, wonderful food from The Hawthorns, lots of shopping from great local vendors, some great speakers, a pretty hats in honor of The Derby. The event also raised awareness for the Bev Hartig's Huntington's Disease Foundation.

annalise: trash the dress.

I had such a great time with Annalise and her beautiful step-daughters in this colorful trash the dress session. Annalise had such a fun vision for these photos and I was so excited I got to be the one who captured her ideas. And how cute are the girls? Talk about a memorable spring break for them!
