ashley and john.

The first thing I saw when walking into the sanctuary before Ashley and John's wedding was a lady bug crawling in one of their ribbons.  Because they represent good luck, I knew it was a sign that the day would be perfect...and it was.

Ashley and John got married in Plainfield and every detail of their wedding was perfect.  From the sweet first glance to the beautiful bride, this wedding was amazing.

Ashley, John, and their kind bridal party braved the heat for a few pictures on the circle...and I'm so glad they did.  I love shooting on the circle and this bridal party, decked out in black and white, looked so elegant in our beautiful city.

The reception was at the Conrad and it was breathtaking.  I literally got chills when I walked into the room.  Everything was perfect.  The orchids were amazing and made the room soft and romantic.

One of the most special moments of the night was a thoughtful surprise from John and Ashley to his parents.  To help celebrate their anniversary, they gave his parents the spotlight for a "first dance" because although they are celebrating 42 years of marriage, they never got a first dance.  Everyone in the room was touched.  It was so sweet.

Living Proof helped keep the party going and Ashley even decorated microphones (AKA wooden spoons) for her and her girlfriends to sing along to the band with.  The night was perfect and we loved being a part of it.

Thank you to Ashley and John for letting us be with you on your beautiful wedding day and congratulations to the newlyweds!  Enjoy this sneak peek of Ashley and John's wedding pictures!
