9-10-11 was one heck of a day for the wedding industry. This numerical gem of a day brought in what seemed to be a never ending stream of photography inquiries for SMP. And so for the first time Mal and I separated to accommodate not one but two happy Indy couples as they said "I do" on the biggest wedding day of the year. To help SMP on this busy day, my buddy Joe, photographer for Joetography and kind contributor of the groom and groomsmen photos on this blog post, photographed this stunning wedding with me.
Emma and Derek's wedding is one I've been looking forward to for awhile simply because of them. They are an incredible couple. With so much confidence, love, support, and respect for one another, Emma and Derek are exactly what you hope to see in every newlywed couple. They are a joy to be around and a treat to photograph.
Emma and Derek planned a flawless wedding and their entire day was perfect example of them: organized, fun, classy, stylish, and on time. Emma and Derek planned a day filled with amazing photo locations, a friendly and super cooperative bridal party, a beautiful ceremony, stunning Scottish Rite reception, and non-stop smiles. Because of their character and planning, Joe and I were able to photograph the never-ending beauty of this day with ease. And because of their love and kindness, their guests, family, and bridal party were able to enjoy a day of sincere celebration and joy. Everywhere you turned, there was happiness.
